It is with great pleasure that Superintendent Flowers announces Dr. Cory Steiner has accepted the position as the next principal of West Fargo High School. Â
Dr. Steiner has a Master of Education degree and a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Dakota. He was named the North Dakota High School Assistant Principal of the Year in 2010. Dr. Steiner has served as an assistant principal at West Fargo High School for the last five years. Prior to that, he served in Des Lacs-Burlington as a secondary principal and activities director for two years.
Dr. Flowers stated, “Good high school principals are difficult to find. We are extremely fortunate to have a person of Dr. Steiner’s caliber already on staff, and prepared through mentorship by an outstanding principal to step in. Since coming to West Fargo Public Schools I have heard nothing but the highest praise for Dr. Steiner.â€
Dr. Steiner will assume his new role on July 1, 2011. He replaces Mr. Gary Clark, who is retiring at the end of this school year after 40 years with the district.
